Today is my due date! I don't feel any more likely to have a baby though. According to babyfit.com she weighs 7 and 1/2 pounds and is about 22 inches long. If she waits much longer she won't fit into some of the newborn cloths I have for her! Everyone tells me the storm will put me into labor... not a big enough storm I guess. I am scheduled to start my maternity leave today so no more work for 10 weeks. I love it! The snow is sooo much more enjoyable and beautiful when I don't have to drive to work in it! And my house is so cute and cozy in the snow.
Baby Betty has been kind to my skin. 9 months pregnant- 0 Stretch marks =)
Everyone I know found some after their baby was born tho so I'm tryin not to get my hopes up just yet.

Week 39.3
I really hope Betty doesn't want to wait till thanksgiving to be born =/ I want to be filling my belly with a food baby by then and be holding my real baby.
I've put on 30 pounds this pregnancy and today was the first time in a long time I got on the scale at my midwife's and had actually lost weight, a whopping two pounds! haha! She says that's a good sign that Betty is ready to go pretty soon woo hoo!
Mmmm I am so looking forward to having a waist again- Hopefully! So many more clothing options.
So cute!

I want this so bad!

11/11/11?
Well Betty wasn't ready to come out into the world on the eleventh. I guess she didn't want to share a birthday with me. I even ate a ton of Scalini's eggplant parmigiana. If you go to their restaurant they guarantee you'll go into labor within 48 hours of eating it and if you don't, you get a gift certificate to come back and try again. I just made it at home so I'll eat the leftovers =) Also it probably would have worked a lot better if I had it on my real due date.
I'm still having contractions every day but nothing consistent or very intense yet...

week 38
38.4 weeks prego today. Full term! We're all waitin on you Betty! I'm ready to fit into cloths again, still shootin for the eleventh. I have been having some long braxton hicks contractions so I had my midwife check Betty's heart rate while I was having one and she tolerated it wonderfully =)
I still feel pretty good but I am really really looking forward to my time off of work with my sweet baby
I changed my mind about the crib by my bed. It made it too hard to get in and out and I wouldn't be able to reach her unless I was in bed. So it's against the opposite wall now. My awesome sister Misty made me this adorable purple quilt to match all our purple stuff.
and she got me this super cute bumper. Thanks Misty!

Week 35
Betty is about five and a half pounds ( wouldn't it be nice if gaining baby weight just meant you weighed as much as you and the baby put together? Haha yeah right! I've put on almost 25 pounds!) and she's almost 20 inches long now. I had a prenatal appointment today and my midwives say we are super healthy. I got my birth packet today. Yikes! That means I could have her pretty soon! 37 weeks is considered full term, I could have a baby in just over a week! I think she likes it in there too much though. She'll cook for a while longer. She still does water ballet in my tummy all the time. Sometimes it's just hiccups which makes me sad! Her little body is too little to have such big hiccups :(
I'm not much of a writer so I rely on pictures to sustain my blog . That's the best part anyways right? Well it will be much better when I have BABY pictures. Aaah so excited to see her! =)
Thank you so much for the crib Lisa! We love it! At least I'm pretty sure by the way Betty wiggled around that she was also saying thank you :) Zach put it together for me. Thank you!
It's perfect =)
I am in love with fall! Look what Betty and I built just for Mr. Fall :)
more fall decoration
Our neighbor is such a cutie! Check him out...
His name is Sirloin hahahaha! Awe sad, I better not get too attached to him.
This is Betty back at 14 weeks when we first found out that she could be a Betty instead of a Bob or something (I don't think I would actually name a baby boy Bob) Her whole body used to fit in the screen! I couldn't feel her dancing back then either.

Week 34
Just six more weeks to go! She is 19 inches long and just has to bulk up a bit and develop those little lungs and she's ready to meet us all.
After going to fetal studio 3 times and trying for an hour at least, each time, to see Baby Betty's face, the determined doctor finally got some pictures of her. He said this was only the second time in 8 years that he had such a stubborn baby that wouldn't let him photograph her. She kept yawning and sticking her tongue out at us, yeah she knew what she was doing! =P
She's already got such chubby little cheeks!
I love you Betty!
Oh my goodness this crib set is adorable! I'm sure Betty agree's and totally cares what color of sheets she has to sleep on.

Ok you talked me into it Pooh.
Right here under the pom poms is where Betty's crib will be, this way I don't even have to get out of bed to feed her at night =)
I am starting to feel like a tank.

32 Weeks
I am 32 weeks and 3 days pregnant today. Lisa took me to fetal photo a couple of days ago and the doctor says Betty is 4 pounds, and that based on her size she is actually due a day earlier than what we thought. I guess I've been feeding her plenty! She was super stubborn, or just sleepy, and would not look at us. The doctor had me go drink something sugary and walk around for 15 minutes then come try again. We went back in but she was still just cuddled up against the wall of my tummy so we couldn't see her pretty face. We get to go back on Wednesday, then I'll post the pictures of her chubby little face :)

I saw cute pom poms like this on pinterest and thought "those would be so cute hanging above Betty's crib!"
So I found the tutorial. Here's mine. I just gotta hang them now.
I went to California a couple weeks ago for my big brother's wedding, and we went a couple days early so we could play at the beach. I set the timer on my camera so that I could be in the picture with my little brother and sister but they were further into the cold, cold water than I wanted to go. instead it's a picture of Daniel, Hannah and Betty :)
