Week 35

Betty is about five and a half pounds ( wouldn't it be nice if gaining baby weight just meant you weighed as much as you and the baby put together? Haha yeah right! I've put on almost 25 pounds!) and she's almost 20 inches long now. I had a prenatal appointment today and my midwives say we are super healthy. I got my birth packet today. Yikes! That means I could have her pretty soon! 37 weeks is considered full term, I could have a baby in just over a week! I think she likes it in there too much though. She'll cook for a while longer.  She still does water ballet in my tummy all the time. Sometimes it's  just hiccups which makes me sad! Her little body is too little to have such big hiccups :(

I'm not much of a writer so I rely on pictures to sustain my blog . That's the best part anyways right? Well it will be much better when I have BABY pictures. Aaah so excited to see her! =)

Thank you so much for the crib Lisa! We love it! At least I'm pretty sure by the way Betty wiggled around that she was also saying thank you :) Zach put it together for me. Thank you!

 It's perfect  =)

I am in love with fall! Look what Betty and I built just for Mr. Fall :)

Our neighbor is such a cutie! Check him out...

His name is Sirloin hahahaha! Awe sad, I better not get too attached to him.

This is Betty back at 14 weeks when we first found out that she could be a Betty instead of a Bob or something (I don't think I would actually name a baby boy Bob) Her whole body used to fit in the screen! I couldn't feel her dancing back then either.

Week 34

Just six more weeks to go! She is 19 inches long and just has to bulk up a bit and develop those little lungs and she's ready to meet us all.
After going to fetal studio 3 times and trying for an hour at least, each time, to see Baby Betty's face, the determined doctor finally got some pictures of her. He said this was only the second time in 8 years that he had such a stubborn baby that wouldn't let him photograph her. She kept yawning and sticking her tongue out at us, yeah she knew what she was doing! =P

She's already got such chubby little cheeks!

I love you Betty!

Oh my goodness this crib set is adorable! I'm sure Betty agree's and totally cares what color of sheets she has to sleep on.

Ok you talked me into it Pooh.

Right here under the pom poms is where Betty's crib will be, this way I don't even have to get out of bed to feed her at night  =)

I am starting to feel like a tank.

32 Weeks

I am 32 weeks and 3 days pregnant today. Lisa took me to fetal photo a couple of days ago and the doctor says Betty is 4 pounds, and that based on her size she is actually due a day earlier than what we thought. I guess I've been feeding her plenty! She was super stubborn, or just sleepy, and would not look at us. The doctor had me go drink something sugary and walk around for 15 minutes then come try again. We went back in but she was still just cuddled up against the wall of my tummy so we couldn't see her pretty face. We get to go back on Wednesday, then I'll post the pictures of her chubby little face :)

I saw cute pom poms like this on pinterest and thought "those would be so cute hanging above Betty's crib!"

So I found the tutorial. Here's mine. I just gotta hang them now.

I went to California a couple weeks ago for my big brother's wedding, and we went a couple days early so we could play at the beach. I set the timer on my camera so that I could be in the picture with my little brother and sister but they were further into the cold, cold water than I wanted to go. instead it's a picture of Daniel,  Hannah and Betty :)

31 Weeks

Okay I finally picked out a crib. I think this one is adorable, and whadaya know, Walmart!
I bought this car seat for baby Betty. It's great because I can put what ever color blanket I want instead of having to always do pink. I love pink but it's nice to have options :)
I'm doing our room gray and purplish plum. I found these cute gray polka dot sheets but they are only in the picture. When I actually try to buy them they don't have gray! arg!

This is me at 29 weeks. These pants are killin me! time to go shoppin!
and now at 31 weeks today
Yep I'm wearin' maternity pants this time :/

I know you all want to know what my cute little house looks like. Well here it is...

HAHAHA JUST KIDDING! this is just my shed :) It's just so cute with the cosmo's I planted so I had to take a picture of it. Here is my tiny little yard

It's big enough for a garden though
I get fresh veggies for Betty and I every day! I love gardening!

Here is Betty's dresser. I found it super cheap and painted it this cute and gray. I used a stencil for the sides

I know I'm kinda scatter brained so stuff is randomly thrown on here :) Here is my house for realsies

Hey baby

Hello everyone! Lisa gave me the idea to start a blog so that everyone can know what's going on with mine and Zach's little baby. So here it is.

My old computer died so these are the only pictures I have so far. These are me and Betty at 28 weeks
I still have a waist from the front! :)
but certainly not from the side anymore

Today I am 28 and a half weeks pregnant with my baby girl that I will very likely name Betty. Maybe once you all see it on an adorable little girl it will grow on you :) Still not sure about a middle name, but I really like Betty Harper or Betty Rowyn.
She is about 2 1/2 pounds and somewhere around 15 inches long according to babyfit.com. She is the squirmiest little baby! I'm so glad she is because it's reassuring to feel her. When my doctor tries to find her in there so that we can listen to her heart beat, she has to chase her down!
So far my pregnancy has been super easy especially when I hear what most other girls go through. I guess I still have the roughest few weeks ahead though.
Don't everyone freak out at once but I plan to have her at home :D I live five minutes from a hospital tho in case anything gets worrisome and I have several trained experienced midwives and assistants making sure everything is going well. I start hypno birthing classes next week.
